Little Boxes...

My favorite thing about summer? Fresh raspberries. They're just so stinkin' good! I think I've eaten an entire box today.

I get a new phone on Friday! Yep, the new iPhone will be mine. I'm excited, especially for all of the awesome apps you can download. There's one for tracking your running, one for Twitter, even one to help you find where you parked your car. I definitely need that one in my life!

Looking back on today, I didn't really accomplish much at all unfortunately. I went to the library this morning. I love reading, especially over the summer. Usually I go through phases where I check out a ton of books related to one subject just so I can learn as much as possible at once. Last week I got a ton on Christianity and religion, and this week I came home with quite a few about owning a small business. Even if I don't start going to church or I don't open my business, I love learning about all of these different things.

Along with my library trip, I spent some time reading about professional organizers. Aside from what I've seen on HGTV I didn't really know much about the career at all. I definitely think it's interesting and it might even be something I could consider for the future. You'd be able to combine organizing with psychology...how cool is that?

I've also been spending some time thinking about the future...where I want to live (LA? New Orleans?), what I want to do (work? grad school?), and even what kind of person I want to be. I think I'm entering a time where I really want to start setting some realistic (but challenging, of course) goals for myself. Once school starts up again I'll definitely be focusing on the here and now, but for right now it's fun to dream about the future!

Oh gosh, and dreaming about my future house is definitely something I've been doing. Sounds crazy, I know. I'm totally willing to admit that. You see, I've had this folder on my desktop for about 6 months labeled "Home". I've been collecting pictures from all over the place and dumping them in there. I've got living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, pretty much every room in the house. I found myself wide awake at 4am last night (this morning?) so I spent a little while going through everything I've collected to see if there were any trends. It was really interesting, and I think I might even have to do a post on it tomorrow!

Also, tomorrow's time for another NOTD! I'm getting up at 8 to do my run, so I should probably head to bed. And by bed I mean I'll be finishing season 4 of Weeds so I can start the new season! I absolutely love that show, even though they got rid of my favorite theme song ever. :)

My mom lives in New Orleans. I live in Louisiana too, but not in N.O.

You will love the iPhone. If I could marry it I would. For twitter you should get the tweetie app. Only $2.99. You'll love it. Kindle also has a free app to read books. There are also plenty of books that you can download for free. If you Skype there is a free app.

Okay let me stop.

P.S. There is alway a FaceBook app.

Hugs and Mocha,
Stesha

@Mrs Southern Bride - Thank you! I'm a fan of yours too!

@Stesha -I've always loved the New Orleans area, and pretty much all that I've visited in Louisiana. I have a lot of friends that live there! And thanks for the tips on the apps! I'll defintely be getting the Facebook and Kindle apps and something for twitter. I'm so excited!

@thatgirlblogs - Thanks! I'm not entirely sure how together I am, but I'm working on it! :)

@Mrs.Zeus - I almost got a Blackberry! When I found out AT&T was the only service that worked on campus at the college I'm transferring to though, it became iPhone all the way!
